South Robeson Veterinary Clinic is seeking a compassionate and motivated Veterinary Technician to join our team full-time.
Our clinic provides care for both privately owned pets and rescue animals. Patient care is always our highest priority, and we are looking for someone who takes initiative, works well with others, and is committed to providing every animal with respectful, high-quality care.
Qualifications:
- Preferably a Registered Veterinary Technician or currently enrolled in an accredited veterinary technology program
- Previous veterinary or animal-care experience is required.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Dependable, driven, and able to take initiative
- Compassionate and attentive to patient needs
- Comfortable working with both client and rescue animals
- Able to maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment
Primary responsibilities may include:
- Assisting veterinarians with examinations, treatments, and procedures
- Monitoring and caring for hospitalized and surgical patients
- Administering medications and treatments as directed
- Collecting samples and assisting with diagnostic testing
- Maintaining accurate medical records
- Communicating professionally with clients and team members
- Supporting daily cleaning, sanitation, and patient-care responsibilities

Pay: $11.00 - $22.00 per hour

- This position requires regular cleaning and sanitation, including kennels, treatment areas, surgical spaces, and animal related messes. Are you willing and able to perform these duties throughout every shift?
- Are you comfortable safely handling animals that may be fearful, stressed, aggressive, injured, or critically ill?
- Are you available for weekends, holidays, or emergency coverage if needed?

License/Certification:
- Veterinary Technician Certification (Preferred)
