OTR Driver position available. Must have 2 years of experience and a clean record. Be familiar with Reefer and Dry Van as well as containers. TWIC is a bonus. Drivers OTR are currently making $200-$3500 weekly.
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Over-the-Road (OTR) Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. We are looking for an OTR driver to go to AZ, NM, CO, IL, MI consistently. Duties
- Safely operate tractor-trailers with manual transmissions across regional and national routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or roll-off trucks, ensuring cargo integrity and security
- Transport a variety of freight including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and other specialized equipment
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle condition, identify maintenance needs, and ensure compliance with safety standards
- Plan optimal routes for timely deliveries while managing delivery schedules and customer requirements
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery documentation, and vehicle inspections in compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate pickups, deliveries, and resolve any issues that arise during transit
Skills
- Proven experience in truck driving with a valid CDL license, including expertise in manual transmission operation
- Familiarity with operating specialized equipment such as refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, forklift operation, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks
- Strong knowledge of freight handling procedures including load & unload operations and securing cargo for transit
- Excellent route planning skills with an understanding of route driving best practices for efficiency and safety
- Ability to perform thorough vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks independently
- Good communication skills for clear interaction with dispatchers, customers, and team members
- Demonstrated commitment to safety protocols and regulatory compliance in commercial driving environments
