Job Overview
Join our team as a Crawlspace Technician and play a vital role in restoring and maintaining healthy, safe crawlspace environments for our clients. In this energetic and hands-on position, you will be responsible for inspecting, cleaning, and repairing crawlspaces affected by water damage, mold or other environmental issues. Your expertise will help transform distressed spaces into safe, clean, and functional areas. This role offers the opportunity to work in diverse settings, utilize a variety of tools and techniques, and make a tangible difference in people's lives through restoration and remediation efforts.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of crawlspaces to identify water damage, mold growth or other hazards
- Perform cleaning and debris removal using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to prepare spaces for restoration.
- Use personal protective equipment (PPE) such as respiratory protection and adhere strictly to safety protocols during all tasks
- Maintain all assigned equipment in excellent condition.
Requirements
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools and other devices safely.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols including PPE use and respiratory protection during hazardous material handling
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude toward client interactions
- Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel to the job site, which changes regularly.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor including lifting heavy objects, crawling into tight spaces, and working in confined crawlspaces for extended periods
