General Description: The QA Production Engineer/Technician is the primary representative for the Richards Quality Management System on the production floor. This position is the critical link between Engineering and Production.
Reports to: QE Manager
Responsibilities:

Complete daily process and safety reviews of the production floor for both production shifts.

Provide a constant presence on the shop floor as a direct communication channel between production and engineering.

Support production floor quality initiatives focusing on process consistency and scrap reduction.

Conduct First Article inspections and review with Engineering.

Evaluate process flow to suggest improvements and changes to engineering.

Support implementation for continuous improvements in Safety, Quality, Cost, and Delivery.

Demonstrate the ability to determine root cause and provide technical feedback to engineering.
Minimum Educational Qualifications (If Applicable):

Technical/Engineering degree or equivalent work experience required.
