Responsibilities
- Engage with customers both inside the store and through outside sales efforts to understand their project needs and provide expert advice on lighting, renovation, and interior design solutions
- Conduct detailed layout design and space planning using SketchUp, CAD, or similar tools to help clients visualize their projects
- Present product demos and explain features to upsell premium options while ensuring customer satisfaction
- Negotiate pricing, project scope, and terms effectively to close sales and maximize revenue opportunities
- Manage account relationships by providing ongoing support, coordinating remodeling or maintenance projects, and ensuring repeat business
- Assist customers with POS transactions, cash handling, merchandising, and stock management to create a seamless shopping experience
- Collaborate with marketing teams to promote high-end lighting sales and interior solutions through targeted campaigns
Qualifications
- Proven experience in outside sales or inside sales within construction, renovation, or retail environments
- Strong knowledge of lighting design, layout design (SketchUp, CAD), and interior remodeling processes
- Excellent negotiation skills combined with exceptional communication abilities in English; multilingual skills are a plus
- Familiarity with retail math, POS systems, cash handling, and merchandising techniques
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for quotes and estimates
- Experience with product demos, upselling strategies, and account management practices
- Organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high customer service standards
