Job Description:
Summary:
The Philanthropy Officer advances the mission of the Foundation by cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding individual donors, with a focus on major gifts and pipeline development. This role works closely with the Director of Individual Philanthropy to achieve revenue goals and strengthen donor relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Portfolio Management
- Manage a portfolio of 100–125 qualified prospects, focusing on leadership annual gifts of $1K+ and major gifts of $10K–$50K+.

Conduct donor visits, solicit gifts, and provide personalized stewardship.

Pipeline Development
- Identify and qualify new prospects through research and referrals.

Collaborate with Annual Fund Manager to upgrade annual donors to major gift level.

Strategy & Collaboration
- Partner with Director of Individual Philanthropy on cultivation strategies and solicitation plans.

Work with Data Intelligence for prospect research and analytics.

Reporting & Compliance
- Maintain accurate activity records in CRM; adhere to gift acceptance policies.

Track progress toward individual and team KPIs.
KPIs
- Number of donor visits and solicitations.

Revenue generated from portfolio.

Pipeline growth and conversion rates.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree required; CFRE preferred.
3+ years in fundraising or sales with demonstrated success in relationship management.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
