Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Fabrication Shop Foreman to lead our fabrication team. In this role, you will oversee daily shop operations, ensure quality standards are met, and coordinate fabrication activities to deliver precision metal components efficiently. Your leadership will drive safety, productivity, and craftsmanship in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate all fabrication shop activities, including cutting, forming, machining, welding, assembly, and finishing processes
- Lead a team of skilled fabricators, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback
- Ensure all work complies with industry standards such as ASME codes & standards and customer specifications
- Oversee the use of hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment
- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide fabrication tasks
- Maintain safety protocols across the shop floor, promoting a safe working environment for all team members
- Manage inventory of materials like sheet metal and ductwork components while ensuring proper storage and handling
Experience
- Proven expertise in MIG welding, TIG welding, FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), welding techniques, and soldering
- Skilled in using calipers, micrometers, hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment for precise fabrication work
- Experience with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, press brake operation, and sheet metal fabrication
- Ability to operate forklifts safely and perform basic math calculations for measurements and material estimations

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
