Pay: $16–$19 per hour (based on credentials and experience)
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday
Preschool Teacher
The Learning Experience – Canton is seeking a caring and dependable Preschool Teacher to support children in a structured classroom environment focused on kindergarten readiness, confidence, and social-emotional development.
This role is ideal for educators who enjoy creating engaging classroom experiences where children build independence, communication skills, and strong early academic foundations.
Key Responsibilities
- Support daily preschool classroom routines and learning activities
- Implement developmentally appropriate experiences that encourage early literacy and math readiness
- Create a safe, organized, and engaging classroom environment
- Guide children through learning centers, transitions, and group activities
- Encourage positive classroom participation and social interaction
- Communicate regularly with families regarding classroom updates and developmental progress
- Follow Michigan childcare licensing requirements and center policies
Qualifications
- Prior childcare experience required
- CDA preferred but not required
- Preschool classroom experience preferred
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Must meet Michigan childcare licensing requirements
