We're hiring a well-qualified professional to teach our students at our elementary school. The successful candidate will have experience working with young children, enjoy seeing their progress and have a passion for education.
Responsibilities:
- Share your knowledge with students.

- Ensure that the students are safe.
- Assign tasks to students effectively.
- Assess the performance of students.
Responsibilities:
Report to work 7:00 am - 4:00 pm , Mon-Fri
- Create and implement curriculum
- Plan and execute lessons
- Classroom management (15-20 students)
- Log and print lesson plans for administration monthly
- Advise parents of student progress for the purpose of communicating expectations; student's achievements; developing methods for improvement and/or reinforcing classroom goals in the home environment.
- Manage student behavior for the purpose of providing a safe and optimal learning environment.
- Create a classroom environment that fosters growth and learning
- Maintain records of student work and development
- Collaborate with Speech Therapists/Title I/RBTs
- Attend and contribute to IEP and 504 meetings
- Differentiate instruction based on IEP or student level
- Monitor students in a variety of educational environments (e.g. classroom, cafeteria, playground, schoolgrounds, hallways, restrooms, field trips, etc.) for the purpose of providing a safe and positive learning environment.
- Handle social/emotional issues as they arise (SEL in the classroom)
- Proctor state testing as needed (NWEA Map experience preferred)
- Complete recommendations for future school assignments
- Keep attendance records
- Procure materials for the classroom
- Attend all staff meetings, trainings, and events
- Report incidents (e.g. fights, suspected child abuse, suspected substance abuse, harassment, zero toleranceoffenses etc.) for the purpose of maintaining personal safety of students, providing a positive learning environment and adhering to state law.

Pay: $30,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
