1. Knowledge of the fundamentals of FIRST Robotics and its mission.
2. Mechanical and construction experience necessary to fabricate parts and mock playing field.
3. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage all team communications and public relations.
4. Work with high school-aged students after school hours and on some weekends during the competition season (requiring flexibility).
5. Ability to mentor student leaders toward their goals, as well as foster an ongoing mentorship plan.
6. Ability to efficiently and effectively communicate with other coaches and mentors of the team toward commonly defined team goals.
7. Effective and positive communication with students and parent support group
Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board of Education may find appropriate and acceptable.
