Job Summary
RDSI has an immediate opening for an ILS Analyst in its North Kingstown, RI office. The selected candidate will help provide the maintenance and life-cycle support of legacy and new Naval systems. This Team Member will work directly with our main customer, the Naval Undersea Warfare Center, on ensuring that all systems can be properly sustained and fielded throughout its lifetime.
Responsibilities
· Provide Code 34 Integrated Logistical Support (ILS) to various government customers providing technical ILS support utilizing US Navy Database Systems, to include submitting Configuration Data Management work files for installations and configuration management updates as necessary in (CDMD-OA), supply support through the Interactive Computer Aided Provisioning System (ICAPS) submitting provisioning technical documentation (PTD) for new or modifications of existing APL/AELs, submit nomenclature/item name packages (DD-61 Forms) for equipment in JETDAS, and develop ILS Certifications on new alterations in the Navy Data Environment (NDE). Provide training and training support, and submitting technical data/publications through the Model Based Product Support (MBPS) database to create a new technical manual or finalize a current technical manual as required.
· Assist with managing the document control process of the US Navy Systems project; track, review, and analyze deliverable products such as Notice of Revisions (NORs), current drawing mark-ups, final drawings for archive system upload to MBPS, and administrative documents such as meeting minutes, documentation spreadsheets, etc.
· Analyze and mark-up engineering data and drawing parts lists to determine completeness, adequacy of detail, technical accuracy of drawings and consistency to program technical documentation such as, APLs/AELs and technical manuals.
· Support ILS Integrated Product Team (IPT) meetings by providing meeting minutes, actions items, and any other relevant information pertaining to the subject at hand.
· Input current US Navy System drawings and other support files into CM archive system CM Pro.
· Assist engineering team with delivery of documentation using DoD Safe, SIPRNET, CD ROM, or other US Navy approved delivery processes
Qualifications
· Minimum 3 years of demonstrated professional experience in supporting various Government Program Managers, Program Office ILS Managers (PSM or APM for Logistics) or Engineers in other associated programs. Demonstrated experience must include ILS life-cycle documentation and initiatives encompassing provisioning, sustainment, modernization, and readiness.
· Degree or Certification in Management, engineering, or related logistics field, or demonstrated experience and specialized knowledge in DoD ILS a must.
· Must be well versed in the use of Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, and Project. Experience using CM Pro, CDMD-OA, ICAPS, NDE, MBPS or other archive systems preferred.
· Excellent oral and written skills are critical.
· The candidate must be able to work independently with a minimum of supervision, and able to work collaboratively with other team members when required
· Must have or be eligible for a Secret Clearance
