Construction Laborer / Outdoor Living InstallerJob Summary
We are looking for a reliable Construction Laborer to join our outdoor living construction team. This position helps with the installation of concrete, turf, rock, pavers, planters, walls, pergolas, outdoor kitchens, lighting, irrigation, and general landscape construction.
The ideal candidate is dependable, hardworking, able to follow instructions, and comfortable working outdoors in different weather conditions. This role requires physical labor, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn proper construction methods.
Safety, quality, and teamwork are important on every job.
Duties
- Assist with demolition, cleanup, and jobsite preparation
- Load, unload, and move materials such as concrete, rock, turf, pavers, block, lumber, and tools
- Help prepare areas for concrete, turf, rock, pavers, walls, planters, and outdoor structures
- Assist with grading, compacting, base prep, and drainage work
- Help set forms, place wire mesh/rebar, pour concrete, and finish concrete
- Assist with artificial turf installation, including base prep, cutting, seaming, nailing, infill, and brushing
- Install decorative rock, weed barrier, edging, and landscape materials
- Assist with building planters, walls, pergolas, outdoor kitchens, gates, and other outdoor features
- Safely operate hand tools and power tools
- Help with irrigation, lighting, and outlet rough-in support when needed
- Keep the jobsite clean, organized, and safe
- Follow directions from the crew lead or project manager
- Follow all company safety rules and jobsite procedures
Experience / Qualifications
- Prior construction, landscaping, concrete, turf, masonry, or outdoor living experience is preferred
- Experience with concrete, pavers, turf, rock, irrigation, framing, or masonry is a plus
- Must be able to lift heavy materials and perform physical labor
- Must be able to work outdoors in heat, cold, wind, and dust
- Must be dependable and show up on time
- Must be able to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Must be willing to learn and improve
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools is preferred
- Driver’s license is a plus but not required unless needed for the position

Schedule
- Full-time
- Outdoor construction work
- Typical start time: 7AM
- Typical End time 330PM
- Schedule may vary depending on project needs and weather
Pay
- Pay depends on experience and reliability

Pay: $500.00 - $900.00 per week
