- Valid teacher’s and administrator’s license with appropriate endorsements
- Administrative or supervisory experience and certification in accordance with state law and State Board Rules and Regulations, based on the minimum of a master’s degree
- Minimum of 5 years teaching experience
Principal
The Assistant Principal is responsible for assisting the Principal in providing school-wide leadership and performing administrative and supervisory duties as assigned by the Principal and helping students achieve the fullest benefits from all academic and non-academic programs, services, and opportunities of the school.
Collaborates with teachers to develop and maintain curriculum standards, develop mission statements, and set performance goals, and objectives
Evaluates curricula, teaching methods, and programs to determine their effectiveness, efficiency, and utilization, and to ensure that school activities comply with federal, state, and local regulations
Plans and leads professional development activities for teachers, administrators, and support staff, as assigned by the Principal
This job may require lifting of objects that exceed 50 lbs., with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 lbs. Other physical demands that may be required are as follows:
