Job Summary
Timbercreek in Grove City is seeking experienced line cooks to join our culinary team. We are a high volume kitchen with focus on quality food and presentation. Our team orientated cooking line consists of Fry, Sautee, Char Grille, Broil and Expo.
Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards
- Ensure food safety and proper handling of all ingredients during preparation and service
- Preparing station for each shift. Stocking, rotating, opening and closing according to established company standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including equipment and utensils
- Support food presentation to ensure dishes are visually appealing before serving
- Follow all food industry regulations, including proper sanitation practices and safety protocols
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy periods
Qualifications
- Previous kitchen experience in a restaurant or food service setting is highly preferred
- Strong knife skills and proficiency in food preparation techniques
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Experience with meal preparation, cooking, and catering is advantageous
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent teamwork, communication skills, and a positive attitude toward serving guests
