The Direct Support Professional (DSP) will support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in daily living, social activities, community involvement, and skill development. DSPs work directly with clients receiving services and ensure health, safety, and personal growth in line with individualized service plans (ISPs) and Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities (DoDD) standards.
Assist with activities of daily living, including but not limited to hygiene, dressing, toileting, meal prep, and medication reminders.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including progress notes, incident reports, and time sheets.
Required:

High school diploma or GED

Minimum 18 years of age

Personal vehicle with current vehicle insurance

Clean driving record with less than five (five) driving points

Successful completion of both BCI and FBI background check
Preferred:

Experience working as a Direct Support Professional (DSP) or equivalent
-
First Aid/CPR certification
-
Medication administration certification
