Caregiver / Personal Care Assistant — 40 Hours Per Week
Vision of Love Homecare LLC is a compassionate, family-owned agency dedicated to providing high-quality, personalized in-home care to our clients. We are currently seeking reliable and caring caregivers for one client in Johnstown, PA.
Position Details
Schedule: 40 hours per weekPay Rate: $14.00 per hourLocation: Johnstown, PA
We are looking for 2 caregivers to split the 40 hours (approximately 20 hours each). We are also open to one caregiver who would like to work all 40 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with safe transfers, including transferring the client from their wheelchair to the couch and other areas as needed
- Assist with showering and personal care
- Help with cooking and meal preparation
- Laundry and light housekeeping
- Assist with occasional errands
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist with daily living activities while promoting the client’s comfort, dignity, and independence
Requirements
- Compassionate, dependable, and patient
- Comfortable assisting with transfers and mobility
- Reliable and trustworthy
- Previous caregiving experience preferred but not required
- Reliable transportation preferred/required for running errands
- Ability to pass a background check
- 2-step TB test or recent negative TB results required — we can guide you through the process if needed
