Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various machinery and equipment, ensuring quality standards are met throughout the production process. This role requires a blend of mechanical knowledge and hands-on skills to fabricate, package, and handle materials effectively.
Duties
- Operate sewing machines and other production equipment to manufacture products according to specifications.
- Conduct quality inspections on finished products to ensure they meet established standards.
- Fabricate components as needed, following precise measurements and guidelines.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and perform basic maintenance on machinery.
- Handle materials efficiently, ensuring proper storage and organization within the workspace.
- Engage in machining processes when required, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Participate in screen printing tasks as part of the production process.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
- Package finished products securely for shipment or storage.
- Operate pallet jacks for the movement of materials within the facility.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in operating sewing machines is preferred.
- Familiarity with quality inspection processes is a plus.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Experience in materials handling and machining is advantageous.
- Knowledge of screen printing techniques is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Understanding of lean manufacturing concepts is desirable.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while maintaining individual accountability.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing production needs.
