Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual with an Associate’s degree in Business, Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing or a related field to join our team as a Lean Technician. This entry-level role is ideal for someone looking to build hands-on experience in process improvement, data analysis, and operational support within a manufacturing environment.
The successful candidate will assist with continuous improvement initiatives and work closely with cross-functional teams to support efforts that enhance efficiency, quality, and overall performance. This position offers strong opportunities for skill development and career growth.
Primary Duties:
Continuous Improvement Support
- Assist in implementing continuous improvement initiatives aligned with company goals
- Collect, organize, and analyze data to identify trends and improvement opportunities
- Support Lean activities such as 5S, process mapping, and Kaizen events
- Help track and update key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Maintain documentation for processes, standard work, and improvement efforts
Project & Process Support
- Provide support on improvement projects, including data gathering and follow-up tasks
- Work with team members to identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements
- Assist with implementing process changes and documenting results
- Support communication of process updates to team members
Quality & Collaboration
- Assist quality and operations teams with process and product improvement efforts
- Help monitor and report on performance metrics
- Collaborate with different departments to support operational improvements
Additional Responsibilities
- Support supervisors and team leads with day-to-day improvement activities
- Assist with updating training materials and work instructions
- Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in Business, Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing or a related field (required)
- Internship, coursework, or hands-on experience in manufacturing, operations, or process improvement (preferred)
- Basic understanding of Lean concepts (training or coursework is a plus)
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel or similar tools for data tracking and analysis
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to grow into expanded responsibilities over time
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to safely navigate a manufacturing environment
- Ability to use standard office equipment (computer, phone, etc.)
- Combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the day
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 lbs

Salary Range: $24-$27/hour, depending upon experience
