Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Electrician to join our team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across a variety of commercial construction sites. Your expertise will ensure that electrical infrastructure is safe, efficient, and compliant with all relevant codes and standards. Duties
- Install, wire, test, and troubleshoot electrical systems using schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and construction blueprints to execute precise installations.
- Use hand tools, power tools, multimeters such as ohmmeters, and other electrical testing equipment to diagnose issues and verify system integrity.
- Perform maintenance on high voltage and low voltage electrical systems ensuring safety protocols are strictly followed.
- Collaborate with construction teams to coordinate electrical work during renovation or new construction projects.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to all safety regulations on-site.
Requirements
- Valid Journeyman Electrician license or certification demonstrating proven electrical expertise.
- Extensive experience working as an electrician in industrial or commercial settings; construction site experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of NEC standards, schematics reading, and blueprint interpretation.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, multimeters, and other electrical testing devices.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues efficiently while maintaining safety at all times.
- Ability to install complex EMT conduit installations.
Pay: $30.00 - $34.83 per hour
