Key Responsibilities
- Comprehensive Assessments: Conduct initial intake interviews, select and administer tailored testing batteries, and accurately score protocols.
- Meticulous Report Writing: Interpret psychometric data and integrate findings into clear, comprehensive, and diagnostic reports in a timely manner.
- Feedback Sessions: Participate in and lead feedback sessions to explain diagnostic results and actionable recommendations to patients and families.
- Mentorship & Leadership: (Optional/Opportunity) Serve as a peer mentor to practicum students, gaining foundational experience in clinical supervision.
- Supervision & Growth: Actively engage in individual supervision, case conceptualization meetings, and advanced diagnostic training.
- Clinical Documentation: Maintain precise documentation of all assessment steps in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Pay: $35.00/hr during the 90-day onboarding period, advancing to $40.00/hr post-trial.
- Full-Time Annual Equivalent: $72,800 – $83,200 / year (40 hrs/wk)

Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical, Counseling, or School Psychology from an APA-accredited or board-approved doctoral program.
- Registration: Currently registered (or eligible to register immediately) as a Registered Psychological Associate with the California Board of Psychology.
- Assessment Proficiency: Solid foundation in psychometric testing and standard test administration (e.g., Wechsler scales, WIAT-4, personality inventories, executive functioning metrics).
- Exclusive Commitment & Availability: Candidates must commit their outpatient clinical work exclusively to Huntington Psychological Services. Due to the scheduling flexibility required for patient testing and intake blocks, concurrent employment at other private practices or outpatient assessment clinics is not permitted.
