Director of Surgical Services
We are seeking an experienced Director of Surgical Services to lead a high-volume, fast-paced perioperative environment with a robust robotics program. This is a hands-on leadership role for a clinician who thrives in a busy OR and can drive operational performance, quality, and team development at scale.
What you'll do
- Provide overall leadership and operational direction for Surgical Services, including daily OR flow, staffing, scheduling, and resource management
- Lead and develop a large perioperative team across a busy operating room with 18 robotics suites
- Own departmental performance: quality and safety outcomes, regulatory compliance, throughput, and budget
- Partner with surgeons, anesthesia, and hospital leadership to optimize block utilization and case efficiency
- Champion staff recruitment, retention, and professional growth in a demanding clinical setting
What we're looking for
- Active RN license (required)
- BSN (required)
- Strong, demonstrated leadership in Surgical Services
- Prior experience as a Director of Surgical Services strongly preferred
- Will consider candidates with long-term Surgical Services Manager experience at a large hospital with an established robotics program
- Proven ability to lead in a high-volume OR environment
Compensation
$120,000 – $175,000, commensurate with experience and credentials.
Pay: $120,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
