Role Overview
Spec Seats is seeking a Spanish-bilingual Assistant Facility & Warehouse Manager who is a strong leader and a proactive problem solver. This role is central to our mission, requiring an assistant manager who can support strategic planning while remaining highly hands-on with daily warehouse activities. You will assist in managing the entire facility ecosystem—from warehouse organization and workflow optimization to supporting a small production team, external vendors, and high-stakes logistics for the sports and entertainment industry.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Operations & System Management
- Strategic Contributions: Assist in presenting warehouse operational information and recommendations to leadership; help prepare and complete action plans to hit productivity, quality, and customer service standards.
- System Design & Improvement: Support the management of warehouse efficiency, product flow, and handling systems. Analyze workflow, manpower, and space requirements to help implement necessary changes and identify needs.
- Policy Enforcement: Help develop, implement, and evaluate policies for safety, product handling, storage, receiving, shipping, and equipment utilization.
Logistics & Supply Chain
- Inbound & Outbound: Assist in supervising and coordinating all daily shipping and receiving, including international containers, full truckloads, LTL, and direct-to-consumer (D2C) fulfillment.
- Vendor & Customer Relations: Help manage a small group of external vendors and manufacturing suppliers to ensure quality and timely delivery. Periodically visit local customers alongside senior management to understand facility needs and product customization requirements.
- Inventory & Records: Maintain accurate records of all shipments and assist in leading regular audits to ensure 100% inventory integrity.
Production & Facility Oversight
- Manufacturing Oversight: Assist in supervising light assembly and upholstery production, ensuring all finished goods meet brand quality protocols.
- Facility Maintenance: Share responsibility for the physical facility and equipment maintenance; ensure the warehouse remains highly organized and clean.
- Safety & Security: Support the enforcement of Safety and Quality standards (OSHA compliance). Assist in securing property by following protection and access policies and procedures.
Leadership & Personnel
- Team Leadership: Help manage daily activities of staff, including scheduling, training, and performance reviews to meet operational goals.
- Mission-Driven: Accomplish organizational missions by completing related tasks as needed and upholding compliance with all quality protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 5–7 years of experience in warehouse/facility operations, with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory or personnel coordination role.
- Language: Must be fluent in English and Spanish (Bilingual).
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).
- Leadership Style: Proven ability to support and guide a team through growth; must be a "working manager" heavily active on the warehouse floor. Promotes a safe and rewarding workplace environment.
- Organization: Exceptional organizational skills and a focus on meticulous detail. Lean and process flow layout knowledge in warehouses a plus.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal skills, effective communication skills, and analytical and problem-solving skills to drive decisions with influence.
- Physical Demands: Within a warehouse environment, to include standing continuously, lifting up to 50lbs unassisted and repetitive use of hands/manual dexterity.
- Education: Degree or coursework from an accredited 2-year or 4-year college/university preferred.
Pay: $62,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
