Under supervision and in accordance with established procedures and standards, it assembles, prepares and restocks food items for patient staff and visitor meal service. Performs all duties in a cost-effective manner and in accordance with accepted food safety and sanitation standards.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- Requires four-year experience in food preparation and/or volume feeding operations, preferably in a health care setting.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Any Culinary Arts training is an asset.
- Demonstrates analytical abilities.
