Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and personable Expo/Food Runner/Server to join our vibrant hospitality team. This role is essential in delivering exceptional guest experiences by ensuring timely food delivery, maintaining high standards of food safety and presentation, and providing outstanding customer service. Duties
- Expedite food orders from the kitchen to the dining area, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met.
- Assist servers by delivering food and beverages promptly to guests, enhancing the overall dining experience.
- Prepare tables for service, including setting up utensils, condiments, and linens as needed.
- Support food preparation tasks when necessary, adhering to food safety and handling protocols.
- Clear tables efficiently, bussing dishes and maintaining cleanliness throughout the dining area.
- Operate TOAST POS system
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team to coordinate service flow.
- Uphold cleanliness standards in all work areas, including the kitchen, dining space, and service stations.
- Assist with banquet or special event setups when required, contributing to successful event execution.
Skills
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant operations, or hospitality preferred.
- Knowledge of food handling safety procedures and proper sanitation practices.
- Familiarity with TOAST POS system
- Experience with food preparation, cooking, or kitchen operations advantageous.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude towards guest satisfaction.
- Experience in banquet service, hotel settings, or culinary environments is desirable.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in guest services is essential.
