Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide excellent customer service to enhance their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems and relay them efficiently to the kitchen staff
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
- Assist with bussing tables, clearing dishes, and maintaining a tidy dining area to ensure a welcoming environment
- Support food handling procedures in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Engage in effective communication with team members to coordinate service flow and address guest needs promptly
- Maintain cleanliness by performing regular cleaning duties, including sweeping, wiping down surfaces, and ensuring restrooms are stocked and sanitized
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, catering, or hospitality is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills to interact confidently with guests and team members
- Ability to handle food safely and follow proper food handling procedures
- Experience with cleaning, bussing, or general restaurant maintenance is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of the food industry standards related to serving, food safety, and customer service
- A positive attitude with excellent teamwork skills; previous hotel or hospitality experience is advantageous
