Schedule Available: 5-day work week (6-7 days are optional)
Local package delivery company under contract with FedEx Ground based in Jacksonville, FL seeking FULL TIME pick-up and delivery in Jacksonville, FL . We have an on-going need for drivers.
- S&L DIRECT INC works out of the Jacksonville Terminal. We deliver to the following zip codes, 32246 and 32216.
- WEEKENDS (BOTH SAT & SUN) are MANDATORY. FedEx operates 7 days a week
- You must be in GOOD TO EXCELLENT PHYSICAL CONDITION, with NO LIMITATIONS
- Must be available to WORK between the hours of 7:30AM TO 7:30PM, SUNDAY THROUGH SATURDAY (We will need you to work 5 or 6 of the 7 days, new drivers work WED-SUN - start and end times vary thus the window, you are NOT working 12-hour days)
- As we deliver liquor, you must be 21 years of age to apply
- Requires a clean criminal background – FedEx goes back at least 10 years
- Must have a clean motor vehicle record – FedEx checks back for 7 year
- MUST BE ABLE TO CARRY 150 LBS UP TO THREE FLIGHTS OF STAIRS
- Commercial driving experienced desired but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate with the right work ethic.
Looking for coverage 5-6 days a week, especially Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
Salaried positions starting from $160/day once fully trained.
CLEAN DRIVING RECORD AND CRIMINAL BACKGROUND FOR TEN YEARS REQUIRED. Drug testing on all applicants & subject to random drug testing throughout your term of employment. References required & ALL will be contacted and must confirm your employment.
Pay: $150.00 - $185.00 per day
