Responsibilities
- Safely handle and supervise dogs during playtime, rest periods, and training sessions to ensure their safety and happiness
- Perform pet grooming tasks such as bathing, brushing, and nail trimming to keep animals comfortable and well-maintained
- Support veterinary-related activities by administering medications
- Help with farm chores including feeding, cleaning enclosures,, and assisting with general farm maintenance
- Heavy lifting of supplies or animals when necessary to support daily operations and ensure safety for all team members
- Previous experience working with dogs in a kennel, pet sitting, or pet care setting is highly preferred
- Experience with pet grooming or veterinary technician work will be considered a strong asset
- Background in animal handling, restraint techniques, or animal care is essential for ensuring safe interactions
- Customer service skills are important for engaging positively with clients and addressing their needs effectively
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and perform outdoor farm tasks comfortably is required
- Prior experience working on farms or with livestock can enhance your ability to support farm-related duties
