Looking for experienced Chiropractors that have treated auto injury patients, as well as OWCP federal patients.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including physical examinations and biomechanical evaluations, to identify musculoskeletal issues.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans utilizing chiropractic diversified techniques, manual therapy, trigger point therapy, and other evidence-based interventions.
- Perform physical assessments and utilize medical imaging results to inform accurate diagnoses within the scope of healthcare diagnosis standards.
- Manage acute pain cases effectively through targeted pain management strategies and patient rehabilitation programs.
- Educate patients on their conditions, treatment options, and preventive care to promote long-term health benefits.
- Maintain detailed electronic health records (EHR/EMR), documenting all patient interactions, assessments, treatments, and progress notes accurately.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care plans, ensuring comprehensive treatment for complex cases such as occupational health or musculoskeletal diagnostics.
Requirements
- Valid chiropractic license in accordance with local regulatory requirements.
- Proven experience in patient observation, physical examinations, and musculoskeletal diagnostics.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, and medical terminology relevant to chiropractic practice.
- Proficiency in chiropractic diversified technique, manual therapy, trigger point therapy, and pain medicine.
- Ability to perform physical assessments and utilize medical imaging tools effectively for diagnosis.
- Experience with EMR/EHR systems for documentation and patient record management.
- Excellent client communication skills with a compassionate approach to patient care.
- Knowledge of evidence-based practice principles to ensure safe and effective treatment strategies.
