Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble pizzas, subs, and other menu items following established recipes and quality standards
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of food prep areas, dining spaces, and equipment in compliance with food safety regulations
- Assist with food handling, bussing tables, and ensuring quick turnaround times during busy hours
- Support team members with food preparation tasks, restocking supplies, and ensuring smooth restaurant operations
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food preparation or food service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key!
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and retail math calculations
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
- Experience working in quick service or fast-food restaurants is advantageous but not mandatory
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment
