American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift MRI Technologist with at least 1 year of experience and ER setting exposure to perform MRI and X-ray procedures.

Hospital-based MRI department with ER/Trauma work setting exposure
-
Performs MRI procedures including head, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, and cardiac imaging with and without contrast
-
Also responsible for X-ray procedures including extremities, abdomen/GI, spine/pelvis, head, chest/thorax, and musculoskeletal imaging
-
Uses Siemens MRI equipment

Epic EMR experience preferred
-
3x12 hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM on set consecutive nights
-
No on-call requirements
-
May be required to float between sister facilities within the system

Minimum of 1 year of MRI Technologist experience required

ER experience required
-
BLS and ARRT MR certifications required
-
Washington state license required if applicable, pending license accepted

Community hospital experience preferred

Skilled in preparation and/or administration of contrast media

Proficient in starting peripheral IVs
-
Knowledgeable in isolation precautions/PPE and radiation safety

Experience with abdomen/pelvis, MRA, and cardiac MRI imaging

First-time travelers will be considered for this role

Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)

All requested time off must be submitted at the time of application, as post-offer time off requests may not be accommodated

Local candidates within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for a travel contract, though local candidates may be accepted at a lower bill rate

Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler

Two supervisory references covering a total of 1 year of experience within the last 3 years are required, and may include Charge RNs or Leads
