Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Title 5 Preschool Teacher with current Permit to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. As a Preschool Teacher, you will play a crucial role in fostering a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that promotes the development of toddlers and preschool-aged children. Your expertise in childhood development will help shape the foundational skills necessary for their future learning.
Duties
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote literacy education, math skills, and overall childhood development.
- Create a warm and welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning through play.
- Provide attentive toddler care, ensuring the safety and well-being of each child in your care.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress, behavior, and any concerns related to child welfare.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create an inclusive atmosphere that supports children with special education needs.
- Organize activities that promote social skills, emotional growth, and cognitive development.
- Maintain accurate records of each child's progress and developmental milestones.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the classroom setting.
Requirements
- Current California Preschool Teaching Permit
- Experience working in private schools, daycare centers, or similar environments is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and practices.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff members.
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans that incorporate math and literacy education tailored to preschool-aged children.
- Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for teaching young learners are essential qualities for success in this role.
- Certification in First Aid/CPR is a plus but not mandatory upon hiring; training can be provided.
