Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Licensed Massage Therapist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will deliver exceptional massage services that promote relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being. Your expertise will help clients feel their best while contributing to a welcoming and professional spa environment.
Duties
- Perform a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to address client needs
- Conduct patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans and customize sessions accordingly
- Utilize knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to ensure safe and effective treatments
- Provide excellent patient service by listening attentively and addressing individual concerns
- Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend suitable therapies for pain management or occupational health needs
- Maintain detailed treatment records and ensure compliance with health and safety standards
- Support the spa’s mission by creating a relaxing atmosphere that encourages client loyalty
Qualifications
- Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with current certification
- Proven experience in patient service, customer service, or medical settings, preferably in med spa environments
- Expertise in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management techniques
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy
- Ability to assess patient needs through thorough evaluation and communication
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on customer satisfaction and professionalism
- Prior experience in occupational health or med spa settings is a plus
