About the Role
IMCO Lumber is seeking a dependable and hardworking Warehouse Associate to join our team. This position involves loading and unloading materials, organizing warehouse inventory, assisting customers, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
This is a fast-paced, hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys physical work, teamwork, and working in the building materials industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Load and unload lumber and building materials
- Pull and prepare customer orders accurately
- Operate forklifts and warehouse equipment safely
- Keep warehouse clean, organized, and stocked
- Assist with inventory counts and material organization
- Help customers with pickups when needed
- Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines
Qualifications
- Valid Drivers License (REQUIRED)
- Ability to lift heavy materials consistently
- Warehouse or lumber yard experience preferred
- Forklift experience is a plus
- Reliable transportation and strong attendance
- Ability to work in outdoor and warehouse environments
- Team-oriented attitude with strong work ethic
Preferred Skills
- Experience handling building materials or construction supplies
- Familiarity with warehouse organization and inventory practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to safety procedures
Schedule
- Monday–Friday
- Some Saturday availability may be required
