We are currently seeking a caring, dependable, and energetic teacher to join our summer care program. This position works with children ages 4–10 and has the opportunity to continue into the school year. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with children, creates a positive learning environment, and can build strong relationships with students, families, and coworkers.
Position Schedule
- Monday–Friday
- 8:30 AM – 5:45 PM
Responsibilities
- Supervise and engage children ages 4–10 in a safe and positive environment
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities
- Maintain daily classroom schedules and routines
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and fellow staff members
- Support children with special education and behavioral needs with patience and understanding
- Ensure classrooms and activity areas remain clean, organized, and prepared
- Encourage positive behavior, teamwork, and social-emotional development
- Follow all center policies, licensing regulations, and safety procedures
- Assist with transitions, outdoor play, meals/snacks, and group activities
Qualifications & Requirements
- Must be comfortable working with children ages 4–10
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Must be patient, dependable, and professional
- Must be able to pass a background check and fingerprinting
- Must obtain CPR/First Aid certification and all required training
- Ability to meet the physical demands of working with active children throughout the day

Pay: From $10.00 per hour
