Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Warehouse Associate to join our team. This position includes various warehouse duties from packing and shipping orders to receiving to inventory management all while ensuring a safe and efficient work environment. The ideal candidate will possess attention to detail, a strong work ethic and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Follow company packing procedures and standards
- Handle inventory with care and attention to detail
- Load and unload freight using forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual handling techniques
- Maintain accurate inventory quantity and location
- Label parts and packages appropriately
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse space
- Communicate effectively with team members and management
- Adhere to all safety regulations
Skills
- Computer competent
- Forklift Certified or previous training
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and customers
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred
- Ability to stand for 8 hours and lift boxes weighing up to 50 lbs
