Hometown Motors is looking for an Assistant Administrative Operations Manager to help support the daily operations of our growing automotive repair shop in Loves Park.
This isn't just an office job.
You'll help keep our repair shop running smoothly by supporting our team, improving systems, communicating with customers, and helping create an exceptional experience from the moment a customer walks through our doors.
While this isn't a technician position, we're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys cars and wants to be part of the automotive industry.

What You'll Do
Support the daily operations of our repair shop by assisting with:
- Customer check-in, checkout, and payment processing
- Scheduling appointments and answering phones
- Basic repair estimates and customer communication
- Parts ordering, inventory, and organization
- Opening and closing shop procedures
- CRM management and customer follow-up
- Maintenance reminders and declined repair follow-up
- Capturing photos and videos for social media and marketing
- Supporting operational projects and improving shop systems

You don't need previous experience in the automotive repair industry, but you should have a genuine interest in cars and enjoy learning about them. Many of our strongest team members have come from banking, healthcare, hospitality, logistics, project coordination, and office management. We'll teach you the repair shop side—we're looking for someone who's excited to learn it.

Compensation
$40,000–$50,000 per year
Compensation is based on experience, qualifications, and demonstrated ability.
