We are seeking a high-energy individual who can help to build and develop a great customer service and sales oriented team while achieving retail sales targets. This person needs to be customer service driven and have the ability to work with the store manager to nurture a dynamic team where employees want to learn and grow with this organization. This individual must possess a sense of urgency to accomplish store goals and work with manager and owners to ensure customers and employees are thriving in a high performance, customer service culture. Must be flexible in work days and hours including holidays, weekends, and various working shifts.
Working in a retail hardware environment, the individual we are looking for should enjoy home improvement projects and problem solving. With a “Customer First” attitude they should enjoy helping others solve their problems by having a willingness to learn a lot about the various products we sell.

Essential Duties
- Performs leadership, supervisory and administrative duties
- Manages and drives sales and margin
- Must be organized and a good planner, delegator and motivator
- Ability to follow all processes and organizational expectations
- Trains and develops management and associate staff
- Coaches and develops through internal processes to create a high-performance team
- Responsible for managing and executing overall store standards, policies and procedures
- Ensures a clean, safe and culture driven environment for associates and customers
- Holds team accountable for excellence in service standards
- Communicates to the team clear expectations and works with all employees to ensure the entire team is aware of upcoming promotions, events, and customer needs.
- Drive sales and profitability through customer satisfaction and reporting systems
Requirements
- High school graduate – college degree is a plus
- Experience in managing a team
- Excellent communication skills
- Shows excellent leadership ability
- 2-year minimum retail experience
Salary
$18.00 to $22.00 depending on experience.
