Seeking a Full time Pediatric RN Manager for a busy Pediatric office in Clifton Park, NY. Pay rate will be $40/hr-$42/hr, negotiable based on experience. Active NYS RN License required. Schedule approx. 8:30am-5:00pm.

Essential Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform brief histories on patients coming to the office for sick visits
- Perform well visit questions and tests prior to physician coming to see the patient according to standing protocols
- Perform in-office lab tests including but not limited to flu tests, strep tests, cholesterol finger sticks, lead finger sticks, mono finger sticks, hemoglobin finger sticks
- Document results in EMR
- Bill for procedure
- Track ordered labs to make sure the office gets results
- Vaccine recording and ordering and NYSIIS training to use Health Commerce System
- Administer vaccinations according to ACIP/AAP schedules and in-office standing orders
- Administer in-office medications under the directions of the provider
- Queue medications to providers when requested
- Fill out forms to go to schools, day cares, employers, and hospitals/specialists
- Assess patient needs via phone call, answering questions when possible and elevating to providers or booking appointments when needed
- Complete nursing assessment and triage
- Operate according to standard orders and standing protocols
- Provide care in a patient-centered manner
- Demonstrate excellence in both internal and external customer service
- Listen to the concerns of staff members, attempt to solve problems as they arise
- Speak with staff members about disciplinary issues, when necessary, elevate to physician partners or HR department when necessary
- Assisting the OM with hiring and termination within the practice
- Training new hires
- Attend BCHP quarterly managers' meetings
- Educate staff about patient-centered medical home transition
- Be present at office throughout the day and after hours if an emergency arises Supervises, trains and directs other office staff; provides cross coverage as needed
- Addresses scheduling and staffing matters to always ensure adequate coverage
- Coordinates and/or distributes clinical schedules
- Ensure office supplies are maintained at acceptable levels and ordering supplies including vaccines, ordering test for COVID, Flu, Strep, etc, and other medical supplies
- Weekly vaccine count
- VFC Coordinator
- Daily temperate guard checks on fridges and freezers of vaccines

Requirements
