Help Therapy is actively recruiting fully licensed Psychologists (PsyD/PhD), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFTs), Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSWs), and Licensed Professional Clinical Counselors (LPCC/LPC) who maintain a professional office space to receive local client referrals in San Diego County.
While you have the option to see clients via Telehealth (statewide across California) or in-home, our primary focus for this role is partnering with providers who want to build their in-office practice in San Diego County.
Referrals come from our reliable network of community healthcare partners and are thoroughly pre-vetted by our dedicated Referral Coordinators. We handle the administrative heavy lifting—billing, credentialing, marketing, and referral intake—so you can fill your office schedule seamlessly.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide individual, couples, or family psychotherapy to adult, military, veteran, and senior populations primarily through in-person office visits in San Diego County.
- Review pre-vetted referral files and intake notes in SimplePractice prior to initial client sessions.
- Offer telehealth sessions to clients across California or home visit sessions as needed to support patient continuity and schedule flexibility.
- Complete concise clinical documentation within standard timelines using our integrated EHR platform.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Licensure: Active, unrestricted license in the State of California as a Psychologist (PsyD/PhD), LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC/LPC (Note: Associate-level licenses are not eligible for this role).
- Office Location: Maintains an accessible, professional office space within San Diego County suitable for conducting in-person therapy sessions.
- System Setup: Individual NPI number.
- Insurance: Active professional liability (malpractice) insurance policy.
