Overview
Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Hotel Maintenance Engineer, where your expertise will ensure the seamless operation and safety of our facilities. Duties
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, electrical panels, plumbing, and mechanical equipment to ensure optimal operation.
- Troubleshoot and repair issues related to electrical systems, mechanical components, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and schematics.
- Conduct welding, residential painting, and other hands-on repairs to maintain the hotel’s aesthetic and structural integrity.
- Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software to track work orders, maintenance schedules, and inventory management.
- Supervise maintenance projects, coordinate with contractors when necessary, and oversee team members to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to accurately diagnose problems.
- Lead facilities maintenance initiatives that enhance safety, efficiency, and guest comfort while adhering to all regulatory standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or hotel/residential building environments with a strong background in mechanical, electrical, or plumbing systems.
- Hands-on skills in welding, electrical work, troubleshooting with ohmmeters, and working with schematics.
- Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), CMMS software, and manufacturing or industrial maintenance practices.
- Ability to read technical diagrams and schematics accurately; experience with electrical experience is essential.
- Excellent communication skills in English; capable of supervising team members effectively while providing outstanding customer service.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in supervising or managing maintenance teams or projects.
- Familiarity with residential painting techniques and general facilities maintenance procedures.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with the ability to handle diverse repair tasks efficiently.
