About Us
Miskiri Hospitality Group brings elevated, made-from-scratch hospitality to every location we operate. Every plate that leaves the kitchen reflects our standards — the Food Runner is the final checkpoint that ensures it arrives to the guest fast, accurate, and looking exactly as it should.
Position Summary
We're looking for a fast, detail-oriented Food Runner to deliver food from the kitchen to guest tables accurately and promptly, while supporting servers and the overall flow of the dining room. This is a great entry point into the restaurant industry and a common stepping stone toward serving or bartending roles.
Key Responsibilities

Accurately match tickets to plates and deliver food to the correct table and seat without relying on guests to identify their own order
-
Communicate with kitchen staff to confirm order accuracy, timing, and any special requests (allergies, modifications) before running food
-
Check each plate for presentation and temperature standards before it leaves the kitchen; flag any issues to the kitchen team immediately
-
Deliver food promptly to maintain food quality and minimize wait times
-
Announce and describe dishes to guests when delivering (e.g., "Here's your Lobster Mac & Cheese")
-
Communicate allergy and special-request information clearly to the kitchen and confirm with guests when handing off allergen-sensitive dishes
-
Assist servers with refilling drinks, clearing plates, and resetting tables as needed
-
Support bussers and servers during high-volume periods to keep the dining room moving
-
Maintain cleanliness of the expo line, tray stands, and food-running stations throughout the shift
-
Communicate table or order issues to management promptly
-
No prior experience required; restaurant experience a plus
-
Ability to work quickly and stay organized during high-volume, fast-paced service
-
Strong communication skills with both kitchen and front-of-house staff
-
Basic knowledge of the menu (or willingness to learn) to accurately describe dishes and identify allergens
-
Team-oriented attitude and willingness to jump in wherever needed
-
Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
-
Must be able to work in a fast-paced, team environment
Physical Requirements
-
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8+ hours)
-
Ability to carry multiple plates at once, including large or heavy trays (up to 30–40 lbs)
-
Ability to move quickly and safely through a crowded dining room and kitchen area
-
Comfortable working near heat, sharp equipment, and a fast-paced kitchen environment
