Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and attentive Server to join our dynamic hospitality team. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted and fulfilled
- Serve food, beverages, cocktails, wine, and spirits confidently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
- Upsell menu items including drinks, desserts, and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
- Process transactions efficiently with cash handling skills and POS systems expertise, including OpenTable reservations management
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, assist with bussing, and support food safety standards in food handling and sanitation practices
- Provide exceptional guest relations by addressing inquiries promptly, resolving issues professionally, and ensuring a memorable dining experience
Requirements
- Previous food service or restaurant experience, preferably in fine dining or high-volume environments
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and cashiering procedures
- Demonstrated culinary and spirits knowledge, including cocktail experience and wine expertise
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables and prioritize tasks efficiently
- Ability to upsell menu items and process sales transactions accurately
- Experience with food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Outstanding customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude and guest-focused approach
- Basic math skills for check splitting, cash handling, and sales calculations
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed in a fast-paced hospitality setting
