Responsibilities
- Lead the design, deployment, and maintenance of network infrastructure including LAN, WAN, firewalls, Cisco routers, and wireless systems to ensure high availability and security.
- Manage and support enterprise systems such as Microsoft Windows Server, Linux servers, Active Directory, Microsoft SQL Server, SharePoint, and IIS.
- Oversee virtualization platforms like VMware vSphere and Azure cloud services to optimize resource utilization and scalability.
- Implement and maintain IT security protocols including network security measures, firewalls, cybersecurity policies, and disaster recovery plans to safeguard organizational data.
- Coordinate technical support activities across desktop support teams, ensuring prompt resolution of hardware/software issues and user assistance.
- Supervise IT projects from initiation through completion using project management methodologies like Agile; manage vendor relationships and procurement processes.
- Monitor network performance using tools such as SolarWinds; conduct analysis to identify improvements in network engineering and infrastructure.
- Ensure compliance with ITIL standards for service management; oversee configuration management, asset management, and governance practices.
- Lead cross-functional teams in managing IT operations including remote access software, system upgrades, database administration, and information security initiatives.
Qualifications
- Proven experience managing complex IT environments with a strong background in computer networking and systems engineering.
- Extensive knowledge of AWS cloud services, Azure platform, VMware vSphere virtualization, Linux/Windows server environments, Active Directory management, SQL Server databases, SharePoint deployment, and IIS web server configuration.
- Demonstrated expertise in network security protocols including firewall configuration, network support for LAN/WAN/Wireless networks, DHCP/DNS management, VPNs, and remote access solutions.
- Strong project management skills with experience leading technical projects using Agile methodologies; supervisory experience managing IT teams is essential.
- Familiarity with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow or Jira for incident tracking and workflow automation; vendor management experience is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear language for diverse audiences.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, Cisco CCNP/CCIE, VMware VCP/DVCP or equivalent are highly desirable.
- Ability to develop business continuity plans; analyze system performance metrics; implement disaster recovery strategies; ensure compliance with IT governance standards including ITIL best practices.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
