Salary: $40,000–$52,000 per year (based on education, certification, and experience)

Responsibilities
- Plan and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons aligned with the Georgia Early Learning and Development Standards (GELDS).
- Follow all Georgia Lottery Pre-K and Bright from the Start guidelines and regulations.
- Create a positive, safe, and nurturing classroom environment.
- Conduct ongoing student assessments and maintain accurate documentation.
- Foster children’s cognitive, social, emotional, language, and physical development.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress.
- Maintain classroom organization, cleanliness, and learning centers.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and academy leadership.
- Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and professional development.
Qualifications
- Must meet Georgia Lottery Pre-K Lead Teacher requirements.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or another Georgia Lottery-approved field.
- Georgia Pre-K teaching experience preferred.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Must successfully pass:
- Criminal Background Check
- Fingerprint Screening
- Drug Screening
