American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a GI/Endoscopy position requiring ERCP experience and GA or compact RN licensure.

Work in the Endoscopy unit of an inpatient hospital setting
-
Patient population ranges from adults to geriatrics
-
Perform procedures including ERCP (including ERCP with Spy Glass), Bronchoscopy, EBUS, Colonoscopy, EGD, and ION Procedure
-
Patient ratio of 1:2 across 3 rooms and 11 beds with an average daily census of 20
-
Utilizes Epic and Pyxis systems
-
Day shift schedule combining two 10-hour shifts (6:30-5) and two 8-hour shifts (6:30-3) for a 36-hour week
-
Weekend commitment of 2-3 weekends per contract
-
No floating required
-
Call requirements include one weekday call per week and one weekend call per 6-week schedule

Navy blue scrub color required
-
Active GA or compact RN license required
-
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required

Minimum 1 year of relevant experience required

ERCP experience required
-
Prior charge experience preferred
-
Epic charting experience preferred

Skills required include administering and monitoring conscious sedation

Scrub role experience preferred for procedures
-
Responsibilities include circulating and scrubbing for GI/Endoscopy procedures

First-time travelers are welcome to apply

Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract, with all RTO finalized at time of submission
-
RTO blackout dates include Spring Break (April 4th-12th)

No RTO requests permitted during orientation week
-
Holiday coverage required for major holidays including New Year's Eve/Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, and Christmas Eve/Day
-
If one or two major holidays fall during the assignment, no holiday RTO can be requested
-
If three major holidays fall during the assignment, one holiday RTO request may be considered
-
Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
-
Clinical screening required to determine facility fit prior to manager review
-
Full compliance required to start on time, with delays resulting in a two-week push back due to bi-weekly orientation scheduling

Shift and schedule as listed are firm with no alternate shift or schedule requests permitted

Previous Piedmont employees (perm, per diem, or FCSS) must be away from all Piedmont facilities for one full year before applying as a traveler
-
Returning travelers who were previously cancelled or given a DNR by Piedmont must complete one assignment outside Piedmont before reapplying
