We are seeking a dedicated and dependable Medical Assistant (Certified Nursing Assistant required) to provide clinical and administrative support to an Advanced Practice Nurse (APN). This role involves local travel between sites using a company-provided vehicle and requires a strong commitment to patient care, professionalism, and reliability. The ideal candidate is located near Lincoln, IL and is willing to commute to Lincoln to start their day.
- Assist the APN with clinical duties, including patient intake, vital signs, and documentation
- Support care coordination and follow-up with patients and families
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records
- Prepare exam areas and ensure proper stocking of supplies
- Assist with basic procedures within scope of training and certification
- Provide compassionate, professional patient interactions
- Travel locally to support care delivery across assigned locations
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
- Previous medical assistant, clinic, or long-term care experience preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and adapt to a mobile work environment
- Basic computer proficiency (EHR experience preferred)
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (required)
- Ability to meet physical demands of patient care (standing, walking, lifting)
- Current CPR certification (or ability to obtain)
