Duties
- Provide professional blowout styling and hair finishing services tailored to each client’s preferences
- Assist clients with selecting suitable hair treatments, including extensions, coloring, or styling options
- Maintain a clean, sanitized workspace adhering to all sanitation standards and protocols
- Utilize salon software such as MINDBODY for appointment scheduling, client records, and retail sales tracking
- Upsell retail products like hair care, styling tools, and accessories to enhance client results and satisfaction
- Educate clients on proper hair care routines and recommend additional services like eyelash extensions or nail care when appropriate
- Support front desk operations by greeting clients, managing appointments, and ensuring smooth salon flow
Requirements
- Valid cosmetology or barbering license with experience working in the beauty industry
- Proficiency in salon software systems such as MINDBODY for scheduling and retail management
- Skilled in hair styling techniques including blowouts, straightening using razors, and advanced finishing touches
- Knowledge of hair coloring, color theory, hair extensions, and hair threading techniques
- Experience with makeup application, eyelash extensions, and nail care is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with excellent communication abilities to connect with diverse clients
- Commitment to sanitation standards and proper use of salon tools and equipment
- Ability to mentor junior team members and contribute positively to a collaborative environment
