What You’ll Do
-
Manage bi-weekly, multi-state payroll processing for approximately 1,000+ employees across multiple facilities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with payroll regulations

Review and validate employee time records, earnings, deductions, and payroll adjustments prior to payroll processing

Process employee lifecycle payroll changes including new hires, terminations, compensation updates, and position changes to maintain accurate payroll records

Support payroll administration across multiple union environments, ensuring pay practices align with applicable collective bargaining agreements (CBAs)

Research and resolve payroll discrepancies, perform payroll reconciliations, and respond to employee and leadership payroll inquiries

Utilize UKG, Paylocity, and Excel to support payroll processing, reporting, audits, and payroll-related projects
What We're Looking For

3+ years of payroll processing experience, preferably supporting high-volume payroll (800+ employees)

Strong knowledge of multi-state payroll processing and varying state wage and payroll compliance laws

Experience working with payroll systems such as UKG, Paylocity, or similar HRIS/payroll platforms, with strong Excel skills

Experience administering garnishments, tax levies, and other payroll deductions while ensuring payroll accuracy and compliance

Ability to manage multiple deadlines, reconcile payroll discrepancies, and support payroll in complex environments, including multiple facilities or union agreements

FPC or CPP certification preferred
