The Registered Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive care to mothers, newborns, and families, utilizing the nursing process and strong clinical judgment in a setting where adaptability and broad skill competency are essential.
As a rural Labor & Delivery RN, you will engage in a wide variety of responsibilities- including labor support, delivery assistance, postpartum care, newborn care, and thorough documentation-reflecting the diverse and hands-on nature of a smaller, rural hospital environment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience:
- One year of related nursing experience preferred
Licensure & Certifications:
- Current or eligible for Wisconsin RN licensure
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required for Birthing Center
SCHEDULE & COMPENSATION:
- Working Casual Call (12-hr. shifts).
- Shift differentials (percent of base rate):
- 10% for PM shift
- 17% for Night shifts
Casual Call positions are offered an additional 10% differential on top of the base hourly rate.
