Job Description
· Miyano Set-Up/Operator will oversee set-up, programming, editing and operating of turning centers. This position sets up new and repeat jobs, assists operators on how to run parts, troubleshoots and edits code as necessary, keeps records, communicates with co-workers regarding production runs, maintains quality and safety standards. Job shop environment. Work as a team, not left in the corner running parts and learn manufacturing processes of a modern ISO 9001:2015 certified company.

Work Schedule
· 1st shift 6-4 pm
· 4-Day work week Mon-Thurs/Tues-Fri, every other weekend a 4-day weekend
· OT Available
Knowledge and Skill Qualifications
· Miyano/Citizen work experience required
- Mitsubishi Cincom control experience required
-Positive Attitude
·Familiarity with GD&T standards
-Strong attention to detail with excellent problem solving skills

Job Responsibilities
· Identify opportunities to reduce machining time through process and program improvements.
· Assure quality by inspecting finished parts, report irregularities or tolerance deviations to quality control personnel.
· Perform tool wear offsets or change inserts to meet tolerance requirements.
· Follow, create, and help maintain work instructions, complete required daily paperwork.
· Maintain equipment and worksite by completing housekeeping, preventive maintenance, and daily inspection tasks.
· The employee may be required to assist other Operators and serve as a trainer or mentor.
· Writes programs for CNC machines both CAD and longhand.
· Perform in-process inspection of own work while running machine.
· Maintains work area in a neat and orderly condition.
· Works safely and complies with all established safety rules and work practices.
· Conform to the company quality system as documented.
· Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing
Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
